Deb, I need help because I feel used. I've been in love with this guy for
five years and finally told him. We had sex and he told me he cared for me
too. Then he left to go to college. He e-mail's me a lot and calls often.
He sent me his address and told me to write but I can't put my name on the
letters. I have to send them under his brother’s name because he doesn’t
want his girlfriend to find out about us. A. So, this guy has a girlfriend and yet was with you. He cheated on his girlfriend with you and still calls and emails you ... it sounds like he wants to keep you around. You say you love him and will be there for him no matter what. My advice to you is to stop feeling used ... you had a choice in the matter when you decided to have sex with him. Be strong and be in control. Men are more attracted to women that have their act together than needy women. It's OK to tell him that you care for him and that you want to be there for him (even though he has a girlfriend) but express yourself if a way that doesn't make you seem like you are weak or desperate. Oh, and you don't have to send emails under his brother's name ... you can both get your own private email addresses through Yahoo or Hotmail, etc. If anyone out there has something to say on this subject?
