Q. Dear Deb... I am writing because of an ex-boyfriend. He loved me ... even when we broke up, but he was scared. That was 4 years ago. I still think about him and I have dreamed about him (and about us getting back together). I know his phone number and have seen him the last time I was in the town that he lives in. I do not know what to do. I feel like calling him. I also found out that someone was calling my mother's house but wouldn't leave a message. What do you think I should do. I do believe in fate.

A. I believe in fate too. Why not call him and tell him that you've been thinking about him. You never know ... he may be dreaming of you too. What's the worst that could happen ... if nothing else he will be flattered. Good luck and let me know how things turn out.
