Q. I'd give anything to lose weight, but I just don't know what to do or how to get started??

A. Diet and exercise. Most diets work if you follow them. The best one for you is one you can live with. There are tons of books that will help you lose weight including the very popular Low Carbohydrate Diets. Going on a low carbohydrate diet works and you will never be hungry. As with any diet, you should always consult your medical doctor first. 

Get started on a diet first, then incorporate at least fifteen minutes a day's worth of exercise. Exercise makes a HUGE difference. Try to add another five minutes each day, with your goal being one hour per day. Choose the type of exercise that you can live with. Walking is a great start and can be very enjoyable in nice weather.
