About the authors...
Dan Mahony, M. Phil.
Dan Mahony began his work with addictive persons while a doctoral student at Columbia University. He spent more than a dozen years working on New York's Bowery and in various treatment centers and shelters in the Boston area. His most recent work in the field was as a Clinical Supervisor at a Salvation Army Facility treating addiction and training students.
Dr. William Moschella, D.M.D., M.Ed.
An active dentist, Dr. Moschella also holds a Masters Degree in community counseling. He has been working with addicted persons for the past five years in spiritual counseling and in community drug prevention programs. He is also a chemical dependence consultant to the health care profession
