I recently had the opportunity to play the Powell Heavy Metal board and I am so glad I did! It is a great board for a beginner to intermediate level rider, and I can confidently say that it is one of the best boards I have ever ridden. The deck has a wide, stable platform that provides amazing stability, even at high speeds. The wheelbase is nice and long for a lot of control, but is still maneuverable when you need it.
