I was really impressed by the amount of research that Cobbs put into the book, and how he was able to draw from both scientific and historical evidence to come up with his conclusions. Additionally, Cobbs did a great job of presenting the evidence in a way that was both interesting and understandable to the average reader no matter what your scientific background might be. It follows the true story of the Coast Guard rescue of a sailboat that found themselves in the middle of a storm. The characters were well-developed and the story was full of suspense. I highly recommend this book for young readers, and I look forward to reading the rest of the series!
