Forced to leave home, Zoey struggles to adjust to her new life, as she meets new friends and enemies. She quickly discovers that she is the center of a prophecy that could mean the end of the world, and must find a way to save it before it’s too late. As she dives deeper into the prophecy, she discovers secrets and truths that put her and her friends in danger.
The characters in the series are compelling and dynamic. Zoey is a strong and determined protagonist who is not afraid to stand up for what she believes in. I also found myself drawn to Zoey’s friends, especially her best friend, Stevie Rae, and her darkly handsome love interest, Erik. All of the characters are well developed and their relationships and interactions with one another add to the suspense and intrigue of the series.
