I had the pleasure of reading “There’s No Place Like Space: All About Our Solar System” from the Cat in the Hat’s Learning Library. This is a great book for children (or adults) who are interested in learning about our solar system. The book does an excellent job of breaking down our solar system, including the various planets, as well as moons, asteroids and comets. It also does a great job of explaining why we don’t see all of the planets in the sky — it’s because of the Earth’s rotation and position in the solar system. The illustrations are also really great, making it easier for readers to understand the concepts. Overall, I think this book is a great introduction to the solar system and I highly recommend it!
